while i'm glad that there are options for discounted dresses for these women, the "running of the brides" is pretty amazing--i mean, these women have their war paint on. i'm so grateful i didn't have this experience.

**update: the video is even scarier.

What, you don't like being side chucked into a pile of tulle by caffeine crazed women at an ungodly hour in the morning just for the privilege of trying on poofy princess gowns? You're no fun at all.
LOVE the worst advice!! :)
@rachel: hahahahahahahahahahahahahhahahaha!!
@emily: i know, isn't sara's blog awesome?
oh my god. that video made me cringe! i feel a slight anxiety attack coming on! haha. i'm glad you enjoyed that image [from the safety of your home]! have a wonderful weekend!
oh, man! that pic reminds me of the last time I went to walmart (going on 10 yrs ago!)--eek! panic! duck and cover! maybe there's something sport-like about this whole running of the brides thing but really shouldn't the process of planning your wedding be as enjoyable as the day itself? (jogging was not a part of it for me! ;) )
wow that video. getting team shirts made and everything!
I have no regrets about eloping but from time to time I walk by a Vera Wang and get a tear in my eye. Especially when said Wang is 50% off... Ok, that was therapeutic.
I gotta check out the video...
